A: The Shark Cordless VX3 is shipped with the batteries uncharged and the initial charging time of the unit is 16 to 20 hours. The Sweeper only operates properly when the batteries are fully charged and we recommend to initially fully charge and discharge the unit 2 to 3 times in order to obtain peak performance. Subsequent charging times will vary depending upon the amount of usage between charging cycles. |
| Q: How do you charge the Shark Cordless VX3?
A: The Shark Cordless VX3 is charged using the AC Adapter included in the box. Simply plug the charging adapter into the sweeper power head charging jack and the charging adapter cord into a standard electrical outlet (120V~, 60Hz.). |

A: No. The Adapter shipped with the Shark Cordless VX3 is specially designed for usage only with this product. |

A: No. We recommend that you only charge your sweeper when the battery is either fully discharged or close to being fully discharged. Storing your sweeper with the charging adapter attached and plugged will significantly shorten the life of the battery pack. |
| Q: What is the Life Expectancy of the Rechargeable Batteries?
A: The estimated life expectancy of the rechargeable batteries is 6 months to 1 year. This is based on an average household usage of 4 times per week, completely discharging, and then fully re-charging the unit for 16 hours once a month. |
| Q: My battery won't hold a charge any longer. What's wrong?
A: The Shark Cordless VX3 uses NiCd batteries. Although these batteries have a long useful life, they will eventually need to be replaced. If your batteries do not recharge or the unit only runs for a few minutes after charging for a long period of time, you may need to replace your battery pack. |

A: The Shark Cordless VX3 offers a one (1) year warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the original date of purchase. This warranty is in effect when utilized for normal household use. |
| Q: Is the brush roll easily cleaned? Is it replaceable?
A: The brush roll can be easily cleaned and maintained and it is replaceable. We offer a special replacement brush package, which includes the brush roll, edge cleaning brush and gearbox. These items can be purchased directly from the company and replaced by you. To clean your brush roll, Remove the brush roll cover and carefully cut away hair with scissors between the rows of bristles. Then pull away the debris. Be careful not to accidentally cut the bristles. Always read and follow the instruction manual carefully. |
